About the Education & Research Committee of the IHA

The committee is a forum for any matters related to Halliwick and education, and Halliwick and research. Its roles are:
– To ensure that the Halliwick Concept develops, according to its basic principles and in line with new thinking.
– To promote the quality of Halliwick courses through the setting of minimum standards. (This should ensure that all who have attended a Basic/Foundation/Module 1 Halliwick Course will have been presented with similar course content.)
– To promote the quality of Advanced Halliwick Courses through the setting of guidelines.
– To ensure quality of Halliwick Lecturers through establishing a training path and assessing procedure.
– To ensure quality of Halliwick Practitioners/Instructors through high quality courses and assessment procedures.
– To share information through:
courses and seminars;
encouraging the writing and publication of articles;
publishing an Information Update and items for the IHA Newsletter.
– To organise International Courses for IHA Lecturers/Trainee Lecturers
– To encourage research.
– To promote the use of recognised IHA Lecturers.
Meet the Members of the IHA Education & Research Committee

Camilla Benincasa (Germany)
I am a Halliwick Instructor. At the moment, I am focussed on conference organisation, especially Slovenia 2025. I am also the newsletter coordinator.

Fezia Tyebally (Malaysia)
I am a Halliwick Lecturer. My work on this committee focusses on publicity, social media and educational content, to improve the international reach of the Halliwick Concept.

Montserrat Gutiérrez Bassas (Catalonia)
I am a Senior Halliwick Lecturer and I am also Secretary of the IHA Education & Research Committee. I am busy at the moment, translating IHA materials into both Catalan and Spanish.

Chrysa Moscholouri (Greece)
I am a physiotherapist and a Senior Halliwick Lecturer. I am a member of the IHA Executive as well as the IHA Education & Research Committee.

Kostas Chandolias (Greece)
I am a physiotherapist, associate professor and Senior Halliwick Lecturer, and I am proud to be a member of the IHA Education & Research Committee.
